Recruitment, Training and Retention

CARE has two offices in the United States, which house corporate staff focused on product development, quality management, sales and marketing, program management, clinical program design, finance and reporting, information technology strategy, and account management and client-facing activities. The company also has two facilities overseas which house hundreds of staff providing operational support for clients. CARE’s overseas operations are currently located in two sites in India. India is blessed with a strong history and experience in business process management and staffing and a significant clinical talent pool. Customer service staff are readily available and medical and nursing graduates can meet all the U.S. requirements for licensed MDs and RNs, but, until recently, medical professionals have not been recruited or trained to provide clinical business process support. Now, Care Management International is adding the missing elements – experienced onshore leadership with operational experience; and in healthcare clinical design expertise with the focus on helping managers increase the productivity and efficiency of their clinical programs.

CARE's recruitment, screening and hiring procedures are designed to enable us to recruit and retain the best possible talent with the right skills. Specific staffing profiles for each client's business processes are agreed upon at the commencement of the engagement. Direct recruitment, consultants and employee referrals are the three main sources of recruiting, and CARE is developing alliances with leading nursing and medical institutions in the country to ensure a steady supply of clinical labor.

Of special importance to our clients, CARE provides focused training and ongoing educational programs to help our associates achieve clinical, linguistic and cultural core-content expertise. Our retention strategy is customized based on the role of the project team, and, in addition to standard retention practices, CARE employs creative retention strategies such as alternate career paths, diverse learning opportunities, performance-based compensation, and work-site wellness programs.
