Getting Started

There are several ways to get started with Care Management International.

For potential clients that have already identified their areas of focus in the clinical field:

» CARE will conduct an Executive Briefing of the general opportunities provided by a smart sourced care management model.
» CARE will produce a proposal and initial ROI analysis for the care management program you would like established or enhanced.
» The potential client will conduct a CARE site visit and begin detailed implementation discussions with CARE staff.

For potential clients that have not yet identified their areas of focus in the clinical field:

» CARE will conduct an Executive Briefing of the general opportunities provided by an integrated onshore/offshore care management model.
» CARE will conduct an initial Enterprise Assessment which identifies the most appropriate immediate areas of opportunity for establishment of new or enhanced care management programs.
» CARE will produce a proposal and initial ROI analysis for the care management program you would like established or enhanced.
» The potential client will conduct a CARE site visit and begin detail implementation discussions.

For potential clinical clients seeking a strategic and comprehensive enhancement of their care management initiatives:

» CARE and the potential client will pursue a formal 10-Week Executive Investigative Process, which will result in a go/no-go decision for a strategic development initiative.
» The 10-Week Executive Investigative Process will begin with a formal agreement to assign staff and allocate attention to the evaluation of the value proposition, the design of customized solutions, and the structure of a legal agreement between the organizations.
» The output of the 10-Week Executive Investigative Process will include a formal ROI analysis, a strategic opportunity assessment, contracting structures, and a detailed implementation plan which identifies all significant barriers, costs, and opportunities of the identified programs.

For non-healthcare clients:

» CARE will conduct a one or two week pilot with a subset of your data,
» CARE will produce a proposal and initial ROI analysis for your program based on the results of the pilot, and
» Once the proposal is accepted, CARE will provide a contract template with suggested Service Level components identified and when mutually reviewed, CARE will begin work on the project.

Executive Briefing
An early step in CARE's client engagement process is an Executive Strategy Briefing when you will be able to review in detail the CARE model for our management support and explore the potential benefits of selective outsourcing for your organization. This review will include a full discussion of how CARE meets all legal and regulatory requirements, fulfills our clients' needs for privacy, security and HIPAA compliance, and ensures redundancy and business continuity in the event of an unforeseen disaster.

Enterprise Assessment
CARE staff can support a potential client with an Enterprise Assessment, which helps companies create a blueprint for smart sourcing, including suggested processes, organizational models, process flows, business cases and implementation strategies.

Site Visit
We strongly encourage our clients to visit our operating facilities as part of their assessment process and to experience, in real time, the high levels of service and quality provided by CARE.

Executive Investigative Process
For prospects looking for a short-run, comprehensive, and strategic enhancement of their care management initiatives, CARE organizes a rapid evaluation process designed to identify opportunities, propose practical solutions, and design an aggressive implementation plan which is conducted with the full support and attention of both executive teams. This process starts with a formal agreement of both parties to commit to the process and results in a defined action plan which will be accepted or rejected at the end of the process.

Implementation
CARE offers outsourcing capabilities that serve as an extension of our clients' operations. To ensure a seamless interface, consistency, and regulatory compliance, we utilize our clients’ existing IT platforms, real-time secure networks, client-specific decision-support systems, policies and procedures and training. So whether a client retains CARE for full or partial smart sourcing services, we use an integrated, three-tier implementation process to ensure that we give our clients exactly what they want, need and expect. A key component of implementation is the recruitment, training and retention of the very best talent with the right skills to support your medical management programs.
